Printing is a multiplication process where, for the representation of the subject, printing ink is transferred to a material to be printed using a pressure form and a pressure force.
The printing technique is used, among other things, in printing for multiplying writings. In Europe, printing began in the fifteenth century. The Book of St. Albans, actually The Bokys of Haukyng and Huntyng; and also of coot-armuris, an English edition from 1486, is as far as known the first book in colour print.
In the last quarter of the twentieth century, digital printing or printing was created. Offset has replaced high pressure almost entirely today. Offset has become entirely dependent on digital techniques. High pressure, lithography and deep printing are still used for special bibliophile editions and in so-called (graphic) visual art.
Offset printing techniques are used for business cards, stationery, envelopes etc.
